The University of New Orleans has added certificate programs this fall that aim to teach in-demand skills for the metro area’s current workforce needs. UNO has rolled out classroom certificate programs on leadership and team management, agile application development, User experience (UX) design and digital marketing.
Want to learn one of the most popular coding languages used by top websites? The University of New Orleans is offering an accelerated coding course in December. The Fundamentals of Python course teaches students how to code in Python, one of the most widely used programming languages used by companies like Google, YouTube, Netflix, IBM and Dropbox.
The University of New Orleans (UNO) Professional and Continuing Education will be offering new class, the Fundamentals of Python coding, beginning December 17, over the course of two days. The class is designed to be fast-paced and comprehensive, totaling six hours. “After just two class days, students will have a foundational understanding of how to code in Python, which is also one of the most versatile and widely used programming languages,” said Tina Chang, associate vice president of Professional and Continuing Education.
