Slidell Regional Education Center re-opens

The City of Slidell, Louisiana State University, University of New Orleans, and the newest education partner Northshore Technology Community College are proud to announce that Slidell Regional Education Center (SREC) has reopened.

The SREC opened in 2017 with LSU and UNO both offering professional development, continuing education courses, workshops and seminars in Slidell and surrounding communities. The facility closed in 2020 due to the pandemic, and recently underwent a renovation. LSU, UNO, and NTCC have begun offering a variety of classes (see the listings below).

SREC is a collaborative partnership between LSU, UNO, and NTCC, with support from the City of Slidell, Slidell Economic Development Alliance, and the Gulf Coast Education and Training Consortium.

The SREC is located at 1050 Gause Boulevard, across the street from Slidell Memorial Hospital (see map below).
