Ying Lin
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Researcher
Dr. Ying Lin is a seasoned Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning researcher with extensive experience harnessing power of AI and Big Data across a range of sectors and industries, including higher education, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and marketing. He has taught many data science and advanced analytics courses in different higher education institutions, including Syracuse University and Columbia University. Prior to academia, Dr. Lin worked for a global pharmaceutical company in multiple data and analytics driven functions, such as bioinformatics, biostatics and latest marketing analytics as an advanced analytics manager in Consumer and Business Insights. He was the winner of the Exceptional Science Award for top GSK scientists in 2011 for his contribution to the algorithmic big data research leading to personalized medicine discovery and development. Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from University of Delaware in 2005 with specialization in statistical data mining and machine learning.
