Valerie Andrews

Valerie Andrews is a freelance copyeditor, copywriter, and communication strategist in the greater New Orleans area. Her services focus on editing, proofreading, writing and development of strategic communication strategy. Valerie earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism/public relations from Northwestern State University, then received a master’s degree in journalism from Louisiana State University with an emphasis in public relations. Until 2016, Andrews was an assistant professor in the School of Mass Communication at Loyola University New Orleans, teaching public relations, advertising, and event planning. She continues to teach there periodically as an adjunct professor. She has also held faculty positions at Louisiana State University, the University of Southern Mississippi, Tulane University, and at Georgia College & State University.
