Parke joined Gillis, Ellis & Baker in 1981. As a producer, he focuses on the entire spectrum of insurance and risk management for his clients. In June 2016, Parke received the highest honor given by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Louisiana (IIABL), the Lou Daniel Award. Parke is a graduate of St. Martin’s High School in Metairie and of Washington and Lee University, where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Parke founded the Louisiana Insurance Academy and currently serves as the President of Associated Risk Managers (ARM) of Louisiana. He has also served on the Boards of Associated Risk Managers (ARM) South, Associated Risk Managers (ARM) International, Independent Insurance Agents of Greater New Orleans, and Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Louisiana. In 2017, he was honored to accept the nomination to serve as a member of the Washington and Lee University Alumni Board of Directors.
