Leslie Doles brings nearly 30 years of experience in public relations, marketing and communications, event planning and fundraising in the non-profit, museum, tourism and hospitality, healthcare, and social marketing fields. Throughout her career, Leslie has coordinated and led public relations and media training seminars for a variety of clients and presented on public relations and marketing topics for college classes, groups, and meetings. As the Director of Public Relations for a New Orleans-based regional advertising agency, Leslie immersed herself with a variety of clients such as The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living, the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans, United Healthcare Gulf States, and the UNO Lakefront Arena. Among her diverse work with nonprofits, Leslie served as the Director of Communications and Public Relations for Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana. In 2012, Leslie ventured out on her own to work as an independent public relations and communications practitioner. During this time, Leslie has consulted with non-profit organizations and small businesses in the areas of planning, project management and public relations. In 2019, Leslie coordinated the communications and public relations efforts surrounding the grand opening of the new $47.5 million Louisiana Children’s Museum located in New Orleans City Park. A New Orleans native, Leslie is a proud graduate of the University of New Orleans.
