Understanding the intricacies of finance is often one of the biggest challenges facing managers, entrepreneurs and rising business professionals. The Certificate in Finance for Non-Finance Professionals and Managers aims to provide students with the hard and soft finance skills needed to effectively understand the numbers in order to speak the language of business. In-house Finance Consultant | Propeller Incubator

Alexander Bigbie is the in-house finance consultant at Propeller Incubator, a New Orleans based Non-profit that seeks to provide social enterprises with the tools they need to achieve success. Over the last three years he has worked with 100+ business owners based in New Orleans and has gained numerous insights and connections in his time there. He worked with Propeller to create their Social Venture Fund, a loan fund aimed at supporting local, minority owned businesses with loans. This launched in 2018 and he is part of the fund’s management team. Prior to this he was with Barclays Corporate and Investment Bank as an Associate Director based in London, UK. He holds a certificate of banking from the University of London and an MA from the University of St Andrews in History and English Literature.
