Fundamentals of E-Learning Design and Development
This course covers the fundamental principles of adult learning as they relate to the design and development of online learning content. We’ll explore how to craft clear learning objectives and develop measurement strategies that demonstrate the achievement of learning outcomes.
Learning & Instructional Design Practicum
In this practicum course, you’ll have the opportunity to apply the instructional design knowledge and skills acquired in the previous course to plan, design, develop and evaluate your own e-learning module
Ronnie Ashline will not teach you how to transfer a slide deck into an elearning course. Instead, she will push you to transform your learning program into something memorable and useful.
Ronnie has worked with high profile organizations to analyze, design and develop blended learning courses used for new products, sales training success, and campaigns. These trainings include highly successful techniques to increase engagement and retention through role play, scenarios, and practice. Ronnie has taken her show on the road, co-presenting “Your Teaching is Getting in the Way of My Learning” with her learning partner, Sarah Thompson at several learning conventions. She has also helped write numerous whitepapers on experiential learning, and was recently featured in Learning for the Long Run, a book about sustaining a resilient learning organization, written by Holly Burkett.
Course 1 dates: September 9- December 20, 2019
Course 1 is offered 100 percent online and is comprised of 15 weeks of instruction, assignments, and virtual class meetings.
Each Tuesday at 8 p.m. CST, course information will be uploaded for students to review in preparation for the mandatory Thursday live synchronous 30 minute class sessions at 8 p.m. CST. Students can only miss up to three live synchronous classes to earn CEUs.
