Intro to Agile Management

Today’s climate of people, process and technology are growing well beyond our capacity to maintain momentum with our conventional practices and methodologies. Organizations and resources struggle with the changing demands and appetites of its customers. Likewise, customers are frustrated by their unmet needs and desired outcome. The Agile framework is over “ 20“ years old and has been the operating model and delivery foundation of many revolutionary developments. Agile implies an iterative process of experimentation, learning, adaptation and agility and alignment. Agile’s emergence as a huge global movement extends well beyond the software development lifecycle and is driven by the discovery to cope with today’s turbulent customer-driven marketplace to become Agile and Predictive. Today you will find agile discussions in the Boardroom to the laboratory.

This course is built on three universal principles that help our students to master ambiguity, strategic change uncertainty and complexity as a normality that leads to innovative results. Bennetta B. Raby, MS, PMP, LSSBB

Bennetta Raby is an innovator, growth catalyst and reinvention expert that has dedicated her life journey to unlocking the potential of others through the power of transformation.  She passionately believes that regardless of where an individual, organization or community starts their passage to excellence that the true goal is to shift their hearts and minds towards the relentless pursuit of continuous improvement.

Previous transformational positions Bennetta has held are Chief Transformation Officer, Chief of Staff, Learning and Development Executive, Enterprise PMO Executive and Global Consultant. Her volunteer and advocacy work has been just as rich. Bennetta has served as a volunteer advisor to many entities including Independent School districts, city municipalities, Community Benefit, Woman/Minority Business Entities, The Quality Texas Foundation, Malcolm Baldrige Quality Program, Stanford University, Naveen Jindal School of Business, MIT and the Microsoft Envision Program. She has also mentored several boards and leadership teams in the United States, Latin America, and Africa through their performance excellence journeys.

Bennetta is a proud Alumna of the University of New Orleans where she earned her Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science, she also holds a dual master’s degree in Management and Project Management from the University of Management & Technology. Certifications include: Project Management, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Program, Industrial and Organizational Psychology and Strategy Execution. She is currently working with several high profile organizations across the U.S. with particular focus on teaching, executive coaching and organizational excellence. Bennetta will begin her PhD in the upcoming fall and further her dedication to teaching.
